As the Special Events Manager at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), I would like to take this opportunity to bring you up to date you on the events Victoria Robertson have supported as Miss USO San Diego at MCAS Miramar.

Since our first encounter, Victoria has sung at many events hosted by MCCS. Her voice, poise and professionalism have wowed thousands at the Miramar Air Show, impressed Congressmen and Generals, and have entertained our active duty at appreciation day events with the Victoria Robertson Band. Victoria’s accomplishments are many and include, the singing of the national anthem at the Miramar Air Show in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, and will be performing again in 2004, performed at the 2003 and 2004 Military Appreciation Day events, sang the national anthem at numerous MCCS hosted events such as the Grand Opening of the newly renovated station theater (2004), All Armed Forces Women’s Basketball Championships Banquet (2004), Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon (2001), All Armed Forces Men’s and Women’s Softball Championships (2000). Her dedication and willingness to support our Marines and Sailors at Miramar has been outstanding as well as memorable.

Victoria is a true representative of USO. Her support of the Marines and Sailors aboard MCAS Miramar is greatly appreciated by MCCS, this command and me. It is with great pleasure I send this letter to you regarding her performances and the great representative Victoria is for the USO. As you know, you have a gold mine in Victoria as Miss USO. MCAS Miramar and MCCS look forward to working with her in the future!
